When it comes to Disney loving couples and weddings, they go hand in hand and you just know it’s going to be the most magical day. We have created personalised wedding magazines and stationery for a number of Disney fans over the years and thought we’d showcase a few of our favourite ideas to give you some true real Disney wedding inspiration for your fairytale day.

Share the story of your Disney fairytale proposal with your wedding guests

Our very first Wedition that we created was for a wonderful couple who shared a passion for Disney and had the most romantic proposal at EuroDisney. They wanted very much to share their story and proposal photos with their wedding guests so we created a personalised wedding magazine for them with a subtle Disney theme and a sprinkle of fairytale magic.

Their guests were delighted to receive this on the day of the wedding and loved how it not only incorporated the proposal story but also the wedding stationery essentials - the order of service, readings and wedding menu. There was also an in memory of page; wedding party introductions (including a fun message from Alfie their pet dog who was the ring bearer!); venue history; wedding day details for guests to look out for; and a thank you page.

Special Disney themed detail you can incorporate into your day

Disney wedding accessories for the groom

There are a number of ways your groom can stylise his look without going too over the top on the Disney theming. We’ve seen so many fun ideas from a different pair of Disney socks for the groom and each of his groomsmen to Disney wedding cufflinks; ties with a Disney character; Disney Marvel bow ties; Disney themed pocket squares and a Disney pocket watch.

Real Wedition Weddings: Wedition groom Bobby’s day to day job is a plumber, he’s also a big fan of Disney, not only proposing to his love at EuroDisney but also planning a Disney themed wedding. Bobby incorporated a Disney pocket watch as part of his look, a really fun detail is that Mickey Mouse is depicted as a plumber in the illustration!

Real Wedition Weddings: Wedition couple A&M chose a cherry blossom and woodland theme and their Easter wedding but they did want to include a few little elements which matched each of their personalities. Groom Michael sourced bespoke wooden Marvel bow ties for each of his groomsmen, in keeping with their wedding theme and also a nod to their love of Marvel.

Beauty and the Beast themed Disney wedding

Some couples choose to loosely theme their wedding around any topic relating to Disney whereas others will choose a specific Disney wedding theme. Take Wedition couple M&W for example, they themed their wedding around Beauty and the Beast.

The couple’s Wedition was styled to match their Beauty and the Beast theme and burgundy and ivory colour scheme. They incorporated their favourite photos; order of service; readings (including a Disney reading!); an in memory of page; wedding party introductions; their story in numbers; childhood photos; history of their wedding venue; wedding day details for the guests to look out for; hen and stag photos; honeymoon itinerary; a thank you page; and the wedding menu.

Other details the couple chose for their Beauty and the Beast themed wedding:

• The seventh tier on the wedding cake was a bell jar with an enchanted rose.
• The wedding favours were mini bell jars with chocolate brownies inside.
• The wedding reception was held in the venue’s library which incorporated Disney's Belle’s love of books.
• Using a book folding technique, our bride was able to create the impressive table numbers, each one took eight hours to make!
• The first dance song was “How does this moment last forever” from the live version of Beauty and the Beast.
