£200 deposit to commission your Wedition
Congratulations on choosing to have a Wedition wedding! So many couples have said that this is the most enjoyable part of the wedding planning process, here is how it works.

Step One: Commission

Your wedding lasts a day but the memories last a lifetime.

Commission Liz to create a unique Wedition for your wedding day that will make it extra-special, giving you and your guests a treasured keepsake. Secure your Discovery Session with Liz and get your Wedition commissioned with a £200 deposit.

Step Two: Discovery Session

Your discovery session will be in person with Liz or via video call. Liz will come to meet you in your home or a meaningful place to you, perhaps the location of your first date or where you first met. If you prefer you may choose to meet Liz in Farnham, Farnborough or Guildford.

The Discovery Session is your opportunity to share with Liz your story so far, your wedding plans, colour schemes, details, and your hobbies and interests. Liz will take the time to get to know you and start building a clear understanding of your day which will reflect in a truly personal Wedition.

Step Three: Welcome To Wedition

After your discovery meeting you will receive a beautifully packaged Wedition wedding ‘welcome magazine’, this will give you a 12 month countdown to your wedding day, with hints and tips on what to do when, insightful articles to read and help you prepare for your day as well as the all important print and delivery dates of your Wedition. If you have chosen to use a Wedition photographer as part of your package for your front cover photo shoot, you will be provided the details for arranging the session.

Step Four: Design and Build

Liz will begin work on the initial design of your Wedition about three months prior to your wedding. You will need to provide photos that you would like used, for example: your wedding party, couples photos and engagement photo/pre-wedding photo for the front cover. Liz can receive photos by text, WhatsApp, Facebook message, Dropbox, Wetransfer, email or any other method. There are in-house content writers to re-create the story of how you met and your proposal as well as write articles from your pet’s point of view if required.

Step Five: Proof One

A stunning package will arrive on your doorstep and inside you will find your first proof nestled amongst tissue paper. This first proof will have been generated as soon as your Wedition has taken shape, there may be plenty of placeholder text but the idea of this proof is for you to see the overall colour and design.

Step Six: proof two and three

Your Wedition will continue to take shape, and further proofs will be printed, each arriving beautifully packaged. Once you receive your final proof, a few minor alterations may be made which will be received via email, and then your order will be ready to print!

Step Seven: Print and Delivery

You will receive your final invoice with a disclaimer, the disclaimer will need to be signed and returned, once the balance has cleared in the Wedition account your order will be printed and delivered in a stylish keepsake presentation box.

Step Eight: Feedback

Liz loves to hear from you after your wedding, please do get in touch to let her know how your day went and what your guests thought of Wedition! Reviews are a valuable resource tool for potential customers so please do review Wedition on the Facebook page. After your wedding your front cover and review will appear on the showcase page of the Wedition website along with any photos provided by your photographer. This a great place for other couples to get inspiration and ideas for their Wedition magazine.

In most cases the customer wants to keep Wedition a secret and it is a wonderful surprise for the guests. Wedition will not share your details with anyone other than your suppliers and will not interact with you on social media in order to keep your Wedition a secret.
Once your wedding has taken place, Wedition will use your Wedition cover and sample pages on the website along with some basic information, for example your colour scheme, theme and special details. This is in order to inspire other couples and showcase to them what their Wedition could look like and contain.
All designs remain the property of Wedition LTDTM and may be used on the website and social media platforms after the date of the customers wedding.
WeditIon LTDTM may print off extra copies of the customers magazine at the companies own expense to use as samples to show to prospective customers. The customer must inform WeditionTM if they do not want their WeditionTM to be used as a sample.
Customer must gain permission for all photographs and quotations used in their copy of WeditionTM.
The customers email address and phone number will not be shared with any other companies.

How does it work?

This is outlined in The Process
Some suppliers can write an article for your WeditionTM, we have found the majority of suppliers really eager to do this and they will also discount their final invoice for you. For example, your classic car provider might love to have an article included in your WeditionTM detailing the history of the car.

How much time will it take to make?

We advise that we start building your WeditionTM at least three months prior to your wedding day, this allows for plenty of time for you to provide us with the required photographs and information as well as time to proof read your sample prints before having your final order printed. From the point of order it takes up to 5 working days to print and we can hand deliver the order if you are within 20 miles of WeditionTM HQ or we will post them to you so they arrive next working day.

How much effort do I need to put in to it?

It's up to you, you can put in a little or a lot.  You and your partner may choose to write all the articles yourself and provide all your own images, you may invite friends and family to contribute. Perhaps your parents want to give you some childhood/baby photos to use, your best friends may have an embarrassing photo or story to share!  Your wedding party might like to write a funny anecdote about how they know you both.  We can invite your suppliers to contribute, venues are more than willing to provide an article about their history, architecture or grounds. Your jeweller may write about how the ring was made, your dress designer may write about the story of your dress.

What if I want to have more pages or more copies?

No problem, our standard package is for 50 16-page magazines but you can have as many extra pages (in multiples of 4) as you like and print as many copies as you desire. Extra pages and copies are chargeable.
