Congratulations on choosing to have a Wedition wedding! So many couples have said that this is the most enjoyable part of the wedding planning process, here is how it works.

Step One: Initial Consultation

In person with Liz or over the phone, this is where you need to share with Liz all of your wedding plans so far including supplier names and share a little bit about yourselves. Colour schemes, details, how you met and your hobbies and interests, this is so Liz can get to know you and start building up a mental image of your day which will reflect in a truly personal Wedition.

Step Two: Deposit

After the consultation you will receive your meeting notes which will outline your suggested page order, Wedition colour and theme. You will need to have a read through to make sure all the pages you require have been listed and the names of your suppliers have been recorded correctly. You’ll also get a download link to the terms and conditions which is here and your invoice for your £200 deposit. Once the deposit is received, a receipt will be issued and work on your Wedition will begin.

Step three: Design and Build

Liz will start contacting your suppliers and venue in order to try to obtain discounts for you and hi res images of your venue. Your Wedition will begin to take shape as the initial design is started. You will need to provide any photos that you want used for example: your wedding party, couples photos and engagement photo/pre-wedding photo for the front cover. Some page layouts cannot be done until the photos have been received so it is a good idea to send these over as soon as you have them. Liz can receive them by text, WhatsApp, Facebook message, Dropbox, Wetransfer, email or any other method. Liz will get one of the creative writers to write the articles that are not being provided by you.

Step four: proof one

You will receive your first proof once enough content has been provided in order to get the first proof printed, there may be plenty of placeholder text and stock photos but the idea of this proof is for you to see the overall colour and design.

Step five: proof two and three

Your Wedition will continue to take shape, Liz will keep you updated with discounts from suppliers and further proofs will be printed. Once your receive your final proof, a few minor alterations may be made which will be received via email, and then your order will be ready to print!

Step six: print and delivery

You will receive your final invoice with a disclaimer, the disclaimer will need to be signed and returned, once the balance has cleared in the Wedition account your order will be printed and delivered.

Step seven: feedback

Liz loves to hear from you after your wedding, please do get in touch to let her know how your day went and what your guests thought of Wedition! Reviews are a valuable resource tool for potential customers so please do review Wedition on the Facebook page. link After your wedding your front cover and review will appear on the showcase page of the Wedition website along with any photos provided by your photographer. This a great place for other couples to get inspiration and ideas for their Wedition magazine.

In most cases the customer wants to keep Wedition a secret and it is a wonderful surprise for the guests. Wedition will not share your details with anyone other than your suppliers and will not interact with you on social media in order to keep your Wedition a secret.
Once your wedding has taken place, Wedition will use your Wedition cover and sample pages on the website along with some basic information, for example your colour scheme, theme and special details. This is in order to inspire other couples and showcase to them what their Wedition could look like and contain.

How does it work?

This is outlined in The Process

How does my WeditionTM pay for itself?

We will offer your suppliers advertising space in the back of your WeditionTM. In return for the space they will discount their final invoice to you, give you a freebie or an upgrade. Once a supplier has advertised in a customers WeditionTM, they will join our list of WeditionTM Customers’ Choice suppliers and WeditionTM will advertise them on the WeditionTM website and across the WeditionTM social media platforms.
Some suppliers can write an article for your WeditionTM, we have found the majority of suppliers really eager to do this and they will also discount their final invoice for you. For example, your classic car provider might love to have an article included in your WeditionTM detailing the history of the car.

How much time will it take to make?

We advise that we start building your WeditionTM at least three months prior to your wedding day, this allows for plenty of time for you to provide us with the required photographs and information as well as time to proof read your sample prints before having your final order printed. From the point of order it takes up to 5 working days to print and we can hand deliver the order if you are within 20 miles of WeditionTM HQ or we will post them to you so they arrive next working day.

How much effort do I need to put in to it?

It's up to you, you can put in a little or a lot.  You and your partner may choose to write all the articles yourself and provide all your own images, you may invite friends and family to contribute. Perhaps your parents want to give you some childhood/baby photos to use, your best friends may have an embarrassing photo or story to share!  Your wedding party might like to write a funny anecdote about how they know you both.  We can invite your suppliers to contribute, venues are more than willing to provide an article about their history, architecture or grounds. Your jeweller may write about how the ring was made, your dress designer may write about the story of your dress.

What if I want to have more pages or more copies?

No problem, our standard package is for 50 16-page magazines but you can have as many extra pages (in multiples of 4) as you like and print as many copies as you desire. Extra pages and copies are chargeable.
