Mulled Pomegranate Warmer - Christmas wedding cocktail & mocktail

Mulled Pomegranate Warmer Cocktail

This is a gorgeous recipe from The Spruce Eats, a mulled wine with the delicious addition of pomegranate.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Parma (pomegranate liqueur)
  • 2 bottles of dry red wine
  • 2 cups of white sugar
  • 1¼ cups water
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 sliced lemons
  • 2 sliced oranges

Add the first 5 ingredients to a saucepan and stir over a medium to low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer gently for 15 - 20 minutes, do not let the mixture boil. You can strain the wine but I like it served with all the bits in! Enjoy!
