How to stop grandparents missing out on their grandchild’s special moments during lockdown
by Liz GathererDuring this time of national emergency with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak many families are having to spend time apart. This is devastating for grandparents who are unable to see their own children and their grandchildren. Seeing their grandchild is usually the highlight of the week for many grandparents.
You may also be concerned about your children’s bond with your parent’s weakening as they will not be able to spend time with them. Of course we are all doing as much as we can with making regular phone calls, video calls using popular providers such as Zoom, sending emails and text messages.
We wanted to find a fun way to connect families together and feel that we have a wonderful solution for you.
Regular grandchild updates for grandparents
We are delighted to be able to offer a new service where we can provide Grandparents with a regular interactive personalised digital magazine. This regular magazine will drop into their inbox and will provide them with such joy and happiness as they feel included in their grandchild’s daily life during lockdown.

If your child loves baking, why not include the recipe for the grandparents to try for themselves at home?
Interactive digital magazine to connect grandparents with their grandchildren during lockdown
You’re bound to have videos of your child practising their musical instrument, singing a nursery rhyme or saying a new word, these videos can be included in the interactive digital magazine for the grandparents to enjoy.
Share a grandchild’s special moments during lockdown with grandparents
If your child wants to share their artwork with their grandparents, posting it is a great idea and a wonderful gift to be received. Some of their work though may not be suitable for posting, perhaps it is a dinosaur made out of toilet roll and egg boxes! In a similar thread, your child may have built a Lego city… we can include all these wonderful photos and designs inside this personalised digital magazine.
