Is Wedition your 'cup of tea'?

Wedition is for you if you have an incredible story to tell, perhaps you’ve been together for a really long time, perhaps you knew you were right for each other the moment you met, perhaps you’ve experienced some incredibly tough times together. Maybe you’ve travelled (the world or through life)! Perhaps you’ve got children and you want them to be more involved in your day... beyond putting on a bridesmaid dress or ring bearer's suit.

Wedition is a beautiful way to remember loved ones, and a wonderful keepsake to post to guests who cannot make the day.

You’ve chatted with us by phone or email and you know that Wedition is the missing piece to the wedding planning puzzle that you have been searching for. You want us to be a part of your team and you have now paid your deposit. What's next?

The Discovery Session - fall in love all over again

Next step is the Discovery Session. This is done face-to-face with the majority of our UK based couples and through video call for our overseas couples. Many of Wedition couples will travel down to the Guildford area so that they can meet with Liz for their Discovery Session, they are welcome to stay at one of the partner hotels that Wedition work with benefiting from exclusive perks or discounts.

Where UK couple’s have chosen a more premium package, Liz will travel to their choice of location to hold the Discovery Session, this could be the location of their first date, the site of their proposal, their wedding venue or home. You’ll get to see examples of Wedition and discuss what is important to you and be inspired with ideas of what to include within your Wedition.

This is a very special part of your Wedition journey, you’ll enjoy reliving your time together with Liz, she has never heard your story before and is genuinely interested to hear it! This is how she can get a feel for you as a couple and know exactly what style of Wedition will complete your day.

Concept to creation - your wedding story brought to life

You’ll come away from Discovery with a skip in your stride and a smile on your face because you know you’ve just entered a very special club, one that feels entirely exclusive to you, one that feels magical yet exciting.

Liz will take all the information she now has on you and your day and the Wedition team will begin crafting your Wedition. You will of course need to send Liz the photographs that you would like included, and any personal messages from family and friends (if you have chosen to include messages), a creative writer will then get to work on the rest, whether it be researching your venue and writing the history of it or crafting your proposal story. Graphic design will then have their input.

Around 2 months before your wedding date (or delivery date for Wedition invitations), your first proof will arrive with you in a beautiful keepsake presentation box.

The first proof will by no means be complete, but this is your chance to see the initial design and make sure that the colours and theme compliment your day perfectly.

The Wedition team will continue with crafting your creation - sending you further proofs... and then it will be ready to go to print!

Printed less than a mile from Wedition HQ at a chemical free printers

Once you have seen your final proof and everything is absolutely perfect, it is time for our environmentally friendly chemical free printers to print your order.

Your Wedition will arrive around 2 weeks before your wedding date, nestled in a gorgeous keepsake presentation box (which is perfect to store memories of your wedding day inside after the event).

Surprise your wedding guests with Wedition!

Nearly all Wedition couples keep their Wedition as a surprise for their guests. Perhaps your ushers will hand it out just before the ceremony as it contains your order of service and readings inside.

Maybe you've opted to have your menu on the back cover, the first time your guests see your Wedition will be when they sit down for the wedding breakfast, imagine how surprised they'll be when they pick up what they think is the menu to then find out that it is in fact their invitation to all the remarkable details of your special day, they'll feel closer to you for having shared with them your story in this memorable way.
