Pylewell Park, located in the New Forest, surrounded by 27 acres of traditionally laid out parkland and a 15 acre lake, with the sea as a stunning backdrop, is a privately owned country and sporting estate, and is a newly launched weddings and events venue. With a brand new Pavilion built next the house with space for 200 sit down guests, a floor to ceiling glass front to showcase the view out to the Solent, a bar, kitchen, terrace with festoon lighting and rattan furniture it's a utterly unique venue to the New Forest. The main house has 3 beautiful bedrooms available for use for your wedding night.

What's your favourite fun fact that you love to share with Pylewell Park couples?

One of my favourite fun facts about Pylewell Park is that the grounds contain lots of Asian and Australasian plants, bought back from William Ingham Whitaker's world travels, one of the previous owners, in the 19th Century. It's the finer details and special touches of the venue and wedding couple that I love to include within Wedition. What's you favourite fun fact that you love to share with wedding couples?

During the war the house and grounds were occupied by US military who flew Thunderball planes and formed the spear for the Normandy landings on D-Day.

What is your absolute favourite location for an iconic wedding day photograph at Pylewell Park?

We have a private beach which is perfect for wedding photos but we also have a stunning 15 acre lake surrounded by rambling meadows and old greenhouses which is very picturesque.

Tell me about your bridal suite at Pylewell Park

Recently refurbished by Mel Roper-Curzon it's a beautiful four poster room overlooking the house gardens and water. Full of antiques and family treasures with lots of natural daylight and space to get ready. Our three bedrooms are in their own wing of the house all with en-suite bedrooms meaning the bridal party have complete exclusivity.

How do the Pylewell Park team make a wedding day so unique?

We are only licensed to do 25 weddings a year so all our weddings are very bespoke. We work very closely with our couples from the moment they enquire right through to the big day. All show rounds are carried out by the owner and all our suppliers are Hampshire based and handpicked by us to ensure exceptional service.

What do wedding couples love most about their Pylewell Park wedding?

We offer a very flexible service with no packages or must do rules, whether you want informal dining, a picnic, hog roast, BBQ, add some dodgems or a carousel, it's your space and your day. Couples love having that flexibility and also access the day before a wedding to set up which a lot of other venues do not offer.
