What's your favourite fun fact that you love to share with Pennyhill Park couples?

One of my favourite fun facts about Pennyhill Park, is that it's history can be traced back to 1609 when it was called 'Pennyhillfield'! It's the finer details and special touches of the venue and wedding couple that I love to include within Wedition. What's you favourite fun fact that you love to share with wedding couples?

Last year we introduced a Pennyhill ice cream cart which has gone down a treat (particularly last summer)! Guests can enjoy any flavour ice cream you can think of, served by our team from our very own Pennyhill tricycle! Any left overs can then be devoured by your guests in the evening!

What is your absolute favourite location for an iconic wedding day photograph at Pennyhill Park?

I love any photos taken with the main house in the background, particularly when the colouring in the leaves start to change between green, amber and red (August-September). Photos in the lower garden are also beautiful, as with the right angle, they can include our hidden water feature, stunning Pavilion and foliage (which is even better around May-June time where the rhododendrons are out)!

Tell me about your bridal suite at Pennyhill Park

Here at Pennyhill Park, we don't have a Bridal Suite. This is because we know that each couple's tastes and preferences differ. Therefore, we offer a variety of Plush Junior Suites for the Bride and Groom to check out before their special day, and select their favourite! All of our rooms have their own characteristics and features, so each couple can feel like they have a Suite that is special to them.

How do the Pennyhill Park team make a wedding day so unique?

On the wedding day itself, although the wedding coordinator hands over to a banqueting manager to run the day, we will still try to be there to take the bride from her room to the ceremony. We then help with the pre ceremony formalities before helping with any last minute 'fluffing' of the dress just as the bride walks down the aisle. We like to build a relationship with our brides as much as possible, seeing a wedding come together from start to finish, is really something very special.

We also arrange a private breakfast the next day if there are 10 or more bedrooms booked. This is in a private function room, and we will decorate the room with any flowers or decor from the wedding itself. We also leave a letter in their guest's rooms to let them know the 'bride and groom' have arranged a private breakfast.

What do wedding couples love most about their wedding at Pennyhill Park?

We like to think that although we offer the highest quality product and service, we still provide a relaxed and informal experience whereby guests can feel at home with us. So many of our couples return back to us on a regular basis both before and after their wedding, and they often comment that Pennyhill becomes a very special place for them

Why do you love having Wedition as one of your recommend suppliers and what is it about a Wedition wedding that stands out so much?

We loved Wedition when we first saw their personalised wedding magazines  - so much so that our events office manager booked them straight away for her own wedding! They are a fun and personal touch to any wedding, and something a little bit different (that also gets all the guests at the table talking)!

Is there anything else I should know about Pennyhill Park?

We offer very competitive packages, for our off peak dates in particular, and currently have a wonderful summer package which we can offer to selected remaining dates for 2019.

• Maximum capacity for of evening guests: 240
• Real candles or LED candles? LED if on the floor, on tables real candles are fine.
• Can we stay over the night before our wedding? Absolutely, we would offer the wedding rate for you.
• What time do guests have to leave? Midnight (although guests staying in the hotel can access our residential bar until 2.30am on a Friday and Saturday, or 1.30am from Sunday-Thursday).
