What's your favourite fun fact that you love to share with Elvetham couples?

One of my favourite things about The Elvetham is the history, I love including the history of your gorgeous venue within Wedition. What’s your favourite fun fact that you love to share with wedding couples?

The Elvetham is steeped in British history dating back to the 11^th century. The house was once owned by Jane Seymour’s brother Edward who hosted Queen Elizabeth I. On her visit in 1591 the Queen planted an oak tree which still stands tall in the grounds today!

What is your absolute favourite location for an iconic wedding day photograph at The Elvetham?

Set within 35 acres of manicured grounds there’s so many beautiful spots to choose from, but one of our favourites is along the avenue of yew trees which creates the perfect backdrop whatever the season.

Tell me about your bridal suite at The Elvetham

Found in the main house our two honeymoon suites offer large spaces, stunning views and traditional, grand décor.

How do The Elvetham team make a wedding day so unique?

We love receiving feedback as it’s important to us that everyone has the day they dreamed of. One thing that couples always comment on is the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff who go above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy from the moment they arrive. With our staff having over 20 years experience within the industry our couples know their special day is in safe hands.

From owl ring bearers to spectacular firework displays, Elvetham couples love making their day unique and bespoke to them. We have 6 private rooms available and only host one wedding a day so couples can really make it their own.

Why do you love having Wedition as one of your recommend suppliers and what is it about a Wedition wedding that stands out so much?

We love having Wedition as one of our preferred suppliers as it allows each couple to really put their own stamp on their big day and share all the little details and special touches with their friends and family – they also make great keepsakes!

Quick facts on The Elvetham

• Maximum capacity for wedding breakfast guests: 120 in the main house or 600 if opting for a marquee.
• Maximum capacity for of evening guests: 250 in the main house but 600 if opting for a marquee.
• Real candles or LED candles? Real candles.
• Can the wedding couple stay over the night before their wedding? Yes.
• What time do guests have to leave? Our bar is open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays and 12am on Sundays. After these times the bar becomes a resident’s bar so the couple and their guests can party on for as long as they wish!
